Exoplanet Detection Via Transit Photometry Using the Great Basin Observatory

Published in Nevada State Undergraduate Research Journal, 2019

This paper is about the detection of Kepler-17b with the Great Basin Observatory (GBO). We performed one of the first exoplanet detections in the GBO’s history and established a minimum transit depth for confidence in detection with the GBO.

Investigating resonant low-energy electron attachment to formamide: dynamics of model peptide bond dissociation and other fragmentation channels

Published in ArXiV, 2020

This paper outlines the momenutm imaging of dissociative electron attachment to formamide with an emphasis on fragments NH2-, O-, and H-. Production mechanism are addressed and theoretical computations for angular dissociation distributions are provided for NH2-.
